London/New Delhi, 12 November 2024: Grosvenor and EIH London Investments Ltd have announced that Oberoi Hotels & Resorts will open its first UK property in South Molton, Mayfair, bringing the brand’s signature luxury and elegance to one of London’s most prestigious neighborhoods.
Situated on Brook Street at 40-46, this premier boutique hotel will feature Oberoi’s renowned design, impeccable service, and attention to detail. Grosvenor received planning approval in 2022 for the restoration of this 33,000 sq. ft Listed Building as part of South Molton, currently the West End’s largest mixed-use development, combining high-end office spaces, housing, retail, and leisure venues.
The wider South Molton project spans a 267,000 sq. ft joint venture with Mitsui Fudosan UK, aiming to deliver state-of-the-art office spaces on Brook and Davies Streets, establishing new headquarters in one of London’s most sought-after areas. Expected to generate £6.5 million in annual spending, the development will also create 1,000 permanent jobs and 450 construction jobs, including apprenticeships.
