Dubai, UAE: Amadeus is preparing to roll out Amadeus Max for Travel Sellers across the Gulf, introducing an AI-powered copilot designed to help travel consultants work faster and handle increasingly complex booking and servicing tasks.
Integrated into Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, the new tool will assist agents with interpreting airline fare rules, reviewing Passenger Name Record (PNR) histories, and simplifying Smart Flow creation.
The solution is designed to reduce manual work, speed up booking-related processes, improve service consistency, and help agencies onboard new staff more efficiently.
The launch comes as travel agencies across the GCC increasingly look for technology that can reduce operational complexity while allowing consultants to spend more time on customer service and personalised travel experiences.
Amadeus has already introduced AI-enabled capabilities across corporate travel booking, hotel business intelligence, and operational platforms, including solutions developed using Microsoft Azure OpenAI technologies.
Ernesto Sánchez Beaumont, Managing Director, Amadeus Gulf, said the introduction of Amadeus Max reflects the company’s commitment to providing travel sellers with intelligent tools that improve productivity and simplify complex workflows.
“We believe AI will play an important role in shaping the future of travel retailing across the Gulf region,” he said.
Amadeus says its platform processes up to 150,000 transactions per second at peak times, connecting travel suppliers, sellers and systems across the industry.
The upcoming Gulf rollout forms part of the company’s wider strategy to integrate practical AI capabilities into travel distribution and servicing platforms, supporting travel agencies as demand across the GCC continues to grow.
