For ONE NIGHT ONLY, Soul Kitchen, nom:me, Ugly Noodles and 1004 Gourmet are teaming up for a Mahjong Night, bringing together great food, drinks and a little friendly competition – because dinner is always better when there’s a game involved.
Taking place on the 15th of September, the experience includes Mahjong and a three-course menu at AED 250 per person, with drinks available separately. With three time slots available at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, each slot will accommodate a maximum of 20 guests. Whether you’re completely new to mahjong or just curious to learn, this is a beginner-friendly space for everyone to join in and play.
The three-course menu brings together some seriously fun combinations. To start, Szechuan-style
Ceviche, features Shimaji fish, Curious Elephant’s Szechuan Chili sauce, lime, black vinegar, soy sauce, cancha corn and coriander cress.
The main course, Short Rib Birria Belt Noodles, combines Ugly Noodles’ belt noodles with Soul Kitchen’s 36 hour braised beef short rib birria. To finish, Mango Bingsu brings together shaved ice, Thai mango, coconut cream, mango foam and Tajin.
To drink, you can expect Saicho small bottles, alongside Soul Kitchen cocktails and mocktails made with Yinli tea at an additional buy – perfect for sipping between rounds, celebrating a win or quietly recovering from a very questionable move.
