Dubai, UAE, November 2026 – A little Christmas magic is making its way back to the Dubai desert! MINT Market and Arabian Adventures are bringing back Carols in the Desert from Thursday, 17th December till Sunday, 20th December, inviting families to celebrate the festive season with enchanting evenings of Christmas carols, seasonal cheer and memorable moments under the stars. Set against the beautiful desert backdrop of The Fort, Lisaili, this year’s celebration promises an extended four-evening festive experience.
Guests can sing along to much-loved Christmas classics performed by a live choir, enjoy a special appearance by Holly the Singing Elf, and be entertained by Dubai’s favourite family entertainer, Magic Phil, who will bring his signature high-energy festive fun to the desert. Santa will also make a special appearance with a grand desert arrival, while guests can capture memorable moments at Santa’s Desert Grotto. As night falls, a mesmerising live fire show will add to the evening’s festive atmosphere.
Adding to the experience is the curated MINT Festive Market, featuring handpicked stalls from the UAE’s independent makers, bespoke artisans and homegrown brands. Visitors can browse unique festive finds and tick off their holiday shopping list while supporting local businesses. Beyond the market, families can gather around crackling fire pits to roast marshmallows, enjoy a festive BBQ buffet, and sip on warm spiced mulled beverages and hot cocoa. Festive crafts, family-friendly workshops, camel rides and other activities will keep guests entertained throughout the evening.
Surrounded by panoramic desert views, The Fort, Lisaili provides a charming setting for the celebrations, complete with atmospheric festoon lighting and cosy lounge seating. Located in the tranquil Lisaili dunes, the venue offers a welcome escape from the city while remaining easily accessible by standard cars, with no 4×4 required. Dedicated on-site parking is also available.
