  Akabeko, Dubai’s first tabletop Yakiniku Japanese restaurant, is inviting diners to explore a decadent sushi experience with a Wagyu twist to mark International Sushi Day on June 18. With a menu that solely focuses on premium A5 Wagyu, Akabeko puts a luxurious spin on traditional sushi, offering a curated selection designed to showcase the restaurant’s first-class Wagyu.

Each creation from Akabeko’s sushi menu is crafted to highlight the rich flavors and melt-in-your-mouth texture of the Japanese A5 Wagyu, complemented with other opulent ingredients like buttery Hokkaido uni and Ikura.

Crafted with precision and passion, Akabeko’s must-try sushi offerings include the Wagyu Nigiri – a two piece nigiri featuring thin-cut Wagyu, the Supreme Nigiri – a decadent two piece nigiri with thin-cut seared Wagyu, topped with buttery Hokkaido uni, the Wagyu Gunkan Sushi – two pieces of gunkan sushi wrapped in Wagyu and topped with Ikura for a rich umami bite and Wagyu Maki – four pieces of Wagyu tartare maki, with ginger and negi, lightly torched and brushed. For those who want a taste of it all, the Sushi Moriawase platter is a luxurious eight-piece platter that features a duo of each sushi variety, perfect for sharing or indulging solo.
